Resources
Muscular endurance is the ability of the muscle to continue to perform without fatigue. Muscular endurance exercises requires only moderate resistance, but a high number of repetitions. Calisthenics can include exercises such as sit-ups, push-ups, toe touches, and even jumping jacks. Calisthenics are limited in their ability to develop strength unless they are adapted to include a resistance beyond simply overcoming the effects of gravity. Resistance training includes the use of common weight machines like Nautilus and free-weights. These devices can be valuable in building muscle strength if used properly.
