Pets for Vets
The Pets for Vets program is dedicated to supporting veterans and providing a second chance for shelter pets by rescuing, training and pairing them with America’s veterans who could benefit from a companion animal.
NOTE: The Pets for Vets website would be an interesting companion piece to Text 1: Service Dogs to the Rescue. Pets for Vets provides pets rather than service dogs, and explains the difference on their webpage. It may offer an opportunity for some work with compare/contrast.
