PBL Ideas From WEC Social Studies Group

Students are tasked with choosing one of the 13 North American colonies and creating an advertisement to entice Europeans to settle there. Students may use class notes, readings, and online resources to research information to support their advertisements. Finished products may be presented or displayed in the classroom to promote student achievement. Attached is an example project direction sheet that outlines student expectations and includes suggestions to guide student work.
