It's time to write your own restaurant review! 

  1. Use the Restaurant Review Planning Guide to help you brainstorm your ideas. 
  2. Use the Internet to research "real world" restaurant critic articles and food descriptions.
  3. Begin a rough draft below. Make sure you are using descriptive words that let the reader see, taste, and live the restaurant experience!
  4. Use the editing guide to help you review your work and make corrections.
  5. Submit a final copy to share!

How do I decide when to start a new paragraph? General guidelines to keep in mind:

  • Always start a new paragraph when it’s time to discuss a new idea
  • Break up a long paragraph into two or more smaller paragraphs
  • Combine paragraphs of closely related ideas when they are too short to stand on their own (less than five sentences)
  • Keep all paragraphs about the same length.
