Step 1: Find 10 images inspired by the book.

(Suggestion: Use a Google Doc to insert your images and answer the following questions about. When you are finished, make sure to click on Share in your Google doc and alter your settings so that anyone with the link may view. Paste that link into your assignment submission.)

Step 2: Answer all parts of the following questions thoroughly and feel free to include any additional commentary.

• What do you notice about the images?
• Were they inspired by the text or more by other media portrayals of the monster?
• If you just looked at the images would you get a sense for what the overall story might be about? If so, what is that message? If not, why do you think it is different?
• What is the new message?
• When someone first hears the word Frankenstein, they typically think of the monster instead of Victor. Why do you think that is?
