Part 1: Compare (how are these the same)and contrast (how are they different) these two types of motion and the energy transformations that are taking place.

Part 2: Are these both examples of simple harmonic motion?

How well can you identify and characterize the motion and energy conversions involved in both situations			You can identify the energy conversions involved in both situations and compare them. You can identify the characteristics of simple harmonic motion and effectively use them to support your argument.	As with level 3, but with some support using some mathematical modeling analysis.
